It is so obvious that you love your family, and it's so touching. Make sure you take care of self first. I had a nice that was just like you. She chose the game and is no longer with us. That's life and we are dealing with it but it was a waste of talent. She had a beautiful heard and a beautiful spirit. Some family members toook advantage of that and set her up for a bad deal and took not only her life but the life of her two yound children. There are a whole lot that can relate, so believe me when I say to you I can. I see alot of her strength in you which is why I became such a fan of the show. My husband and I just love the show! Frankie, don't change...you are so raw and so real. Everytime you speak from your heart, it touches me. My nieces mother was just like you and went the same road. She punished herself til her death this year for what happened to her daughter. Keep faith and continue to stay true to yourself. Just picked up the CD for Christmas and it is on constant rotation. Love the enitre cd! My husband just nabbed it from me to play for his clients (limo service). Congrats on all your successes and Neffe in publishing your first book. Fan for life! Tonto

Family

Keyshia,

I am so happy to see all of your family members coming together and getting along. I was a bit upset during season one and two of your reality show because I did not feel that Pete and Yvonne Cole were getting recognition for all that they have done for you(at least I did not see it on the show). We are able to see more of the Cole family in Season Three and your relationship with them. I think that you are blessed to have two mothers who love you so much. It is good to see both of your mother's getting along as well as you and your other family members. Family is so important and I hope that you find your other siblings.

As for Neffe, I am so proud of her and her growth. She still has some growing to do, but she has come a long way. I think that it is important that she allows Jaylin to have contact with his father and paternal family because one day, Jaylin may be wondering where his daddy is.

Keisha you are such a down to earth indivdual i love how you look after your family and how you have brought most of your siblings together. I love Frankie & Neffie,Yvonne,Elite,your brother and cousins just everybody it's a beautiful thing that God has blessed you to make all of this possible just keep on doing what you doing and May God continue to bless you & yours

Family

I just love the show it showed that keyshia has grown into a beautiful woman and she wants whats best for her family something she or her family never had. I love neffie and frankie but them two just dnt seem to get along for nothing in the world they fight like enemies. I will be so glad when they are able to get along the 3rd season is where i seen the change in frankie and neffie and even neffie seen the change in her mom. Im glad that neffie is finally settling down and i give big props to soulow for getting engage to neffie he is a real man if he can deal with all that drama but i i hope tis modes neffie into being a woman like her sister love you guys.

I just want to say that i am a true KC fan as well as a fan of the show.Man i watch ur show and i swear i lookin at my fammily.I mean from all the love we have for each other to the bickering drama.Ur mama is a trip and I call my Aunt K Frankie cuz she reminds me so much of ur moms(especially when she drink)and my aunt have 2 daughters 1 can sing and the other have kids so that remind me so much of u ur mama and neffe my my aunt and cousin always arguing about something..but at the end of the day we have so much fun together we tak trips and go have fun EVERY weekend.I am blessed as well as u to have a lot of family around its so much fun

Your life,your dream,your struggle,your willingness to open up and share with America your world is the very reason I have decided that your my #1 mentor.You have over come so many trials and tribulations and you continue to face them but you handle them all with a level head,WOW God has blessed you with great strength-mentally,physically,emotionally, and the most importantly spiritually.
I have read in tabloids that there was some hesitance about going on with the series. I sure hope this is not true but if it is we all have to respect that. But the glimpse you allowed us into your world shows that you are a real person facing real life situations good and bad. We as fans needed to see that.
Far to often artist are just who we see during their performances and that's all we know. In your show we see that you have family delimas and serious issues to work out along with a succsessful career to maintain. My hats are off to you.If I never get the chance to actually meet you in life I already feel like I know you just that much more because of "The Way It Is".
Continue to do what makes you happy and I know you know this but just a word of encouragement prayer does change things. Stay sexy- stay motivated -and stay U!!!!

Keyshia Cole girl don't let your family have that new spin off reality show on BET. That network should not even offer it to them. Without you there is no show! Further more I think they have beneifited enough from it all. They are not famous or talented. They act like fools on tv and who wants that to keep going on and on. They will continue to embarrass themselves on tv if someone doesn't put a stop to it.
and FYI, I can tell you love them but what really sucks is they have not put in the work to be where they are you have. Frankie is an addict that has not done right by any of her kids. The hood is full of Frankies and I'm not entertained. If I want to see black people act a damn fool I can take a ride on a city bus or on numerous street corners. Don't let them drag you down! You are talented and what I love about your story is that from foster homes to superstar you deserve it all! For all those throw away children, you are a great example of what can be achieved with hard work when you follow your dreams.
and FYI I love your music!!! that should be the focus!

I have been watching the Way It Is on BET and I see that you are a beautiful person wanting your family to become one again.I have to be honest with you because what I say the Lord Jesus Christ knows all. There is much tension with your natural mother and the lady that took care of you. Unfortunately, no one is listening to your natural mother because of the situations in her life and she is trying to do better. I think your foster mother is trying to take the role of your natural mother and thank the living God that your natural mother asked her to care for you but she is not an honest person. Yes, she may go to some church building but she acts as though she is better than your natural mother and a true believer would not carry herself that way. She does make you choose between the two but
God's word is true and I commend you on getting everyone together but the truth needs to come out. I also saw the counselor that you all went to and he is not giving any of you no comfort or ideas on what should be done to rectify the situation. Remember, it is written, You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. I hope you, your natural mother and your adopted mom get together and talk to a counselor that will help you all bring out the truth and that way, you all can begin to heal. If no one is listening to no one, how can the issue be resolved. Yes, I am a psychiatrist and I love talking to people but we need to be truthful with one another even if it is not what we want to hear because that is the only way we can begin to heal. I am sorry to say but your adopted mother is a religious woman and she play a role that is for selfish gain and all of you need healing in the family. It is a sad situation; but you are a strong women to even deal with all these issues in your life. God bless each and everyone of you and I pray for the family to be healed in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. If you need any assistance in this matter; I will be more than willing to help each of you.
